I Want To Complain About You

Life as a customer service officer can be frustrating and tiring. I know how they feel. I have a lot of my friends working in this line of duty. So I understand. I for one don't like to complain a lot but if I do need to I expect my need to be taken seriously and promptly.

So how can we help ourself and them in order for us both be happy. I have my own way on doing so and like people say "sharing is caring".

When you make the call, do treat the other person like your friend. I know you having problem. So talk to them like you are talking to your friend. So it would be easy for you both. The most important thing to do is get their name. If you didn't catch it at the first time, ask again or they didn't give it to you, ask for it. This would be handy if you required to refer back for reference when you call back to check on your status.

Give all the details that you think is relevant. If you not sure what they need, ask for it. Don't be shy to ask question from them. I am very specific on my complain so normally I will first ask for their best solution or idea before giving them mine. They normally know more than we do. So there no harm asking for their advice.

Request for a time frame. This is very important as we don't want to keep waiting thinking when our problem will be solve. So ask for a time frame, what the case number, who to call or email if need to refer back and do they charge you? I will ask all this thing so it would be easy for me in the future. I don't have to wait aimlessly waiting for them. Normally three days is a normal time frame but sometime a week is still acceptable. If they we asking for more I will ask for an elaborate explanation from them.

Now, they bust the time frame and still haven't resolve the problem. I know you definitely would be extremely angry by now. Who wouldn't right? I myself who a very patient guy also can be a very hot tempered if become like this. Do not. I repeat, do not scold or yell at them. They just doing their job. You gain nothing for doing so. I don't yell or scream at them.

However, my method is a bit cruel I guess. So I don't really recommend people doing it unless you want them to settle the problem fast.

The idea is to be firm. I normally will just ask questions at them until they can't answer me back. So when they give up, they normally will give what ever I ask. Just like the case here.

I also will sometime use sarcasm and reverse psychology. I am extremely good at manipulating people. So whatever my demand is they listen to me. (Well, mostly almost all the time). Just like my latest case which I am glad they are very efficient and listen exactly to what I ask for. Something I really praise and look for in a customer service.

Overall, I just want to say, it all also depend on how you communicate with them and most importantly it depend on you yourself. If you want to try my method please do so but don't blame me if anything goes wrong. Do it at your own risk, kapish?

Migrating To A Better Place. Ya Right.

I was changing my email to a new email account. So I was kinda slowly transferring all my related accounts to the new email and this blog was one of it.

What I didn't know was I could do a simple switch to transfer it but nooooo I was doing the hard way and that was by creating a new blog altogether and transfer everything (I mean everything bit by bit). Only after I finished doing so, I called my friend to advised them on the blog change. One of them just taught me the simple way of doing it.

I was like WTF.

Oh well. It is done and I don't think anybody could notice the different. Just that you might want to click the 'Follow' button again and if you reading from Google Reader, you might be getting double post yesterday due to the migrating process.

Don't forget the 'Follow' tab button. It's on your right widget. Hehehe.

TM Customer Service GOOD But Internet Still Suck

Haiya. Why this week my internet got problem. I was only been gone for a week and my brother complain to me the internet was sucky for almost all the time. I call edi them about it last week and I thought they going to fix it. After all normally nothing one. Just reset and everything ok one.

So cannot be. I call them again. Talk to the nice girl on the phone. She said cannot do. I need to be transferred to Level 2. Fuyoo. So canggih. Got so many level. Ok lar. Wait wait for the other girl to answer me. Very fast answer. Said cannot reset already. I told no point do the reset edi. I don't want to keep complaining. Sent someone please. Thank you.

One hour later, serviceman came. Fuyoo. So fast. Hahahaa. Ok. He tested the line from my house and confirmed something wrong [DL:568kbps only]. See I told you the internet was sucks. Now you believe me right. So he got to do some checking at the office. Something to do with port setting or something. Wo pu che tau.

He called me back later in the evening said that he can't do it and will do it again tomorrow. Ok. Anything will do. As long I get my internet speed to 4MB back. If not, I accept your offer to give me the 5MB for free no problem.

Today, the girl, the Level 2 one called me and asked about my internet. Very efficient right? Still suck lor I told her. I print screen the result and email it to her and see if they can fix it. So now wait lor Monday for them to fix it. Sunday nobody working what. Die die live with slow internet like tortoise.

THE END RESULT

The A-Team

It is hilarious. I know it the moment I saw the title. It must be funny. If you watch The Loser before you should watch this movie. It is far better than the The Loser.

It is all with military set. I like the crazy pilot the most. He is funny to the bones. I would recommend for all to watch even though I know it is a little bit to late already. I bet you won't stop laughing. Yes, it is an action movie.

My rate 9/10.

Stealing Is A No No

I was staying at my friend's house for a week. I just wanted to be away from my home. My house is in "the jungle" and I wanted a city environment for a change. So my mother said "Sure, but the car stay at home". I had to use the public transport all the way for the whole week and it had been a year since I last use it. I don't mind. I wanted to relax in the city.

My friend was kind enough to accept me for the week and since he stay next to the LRT station it is extremely convenience for me to move around. I just need to plan my schedule one or two hours ahead. I had all the time I need. We both had fun.

------------------------------

His house consist of him and his other house mate. I knew them both for more than three years already by now. So we are close and any trouble they/we have or had, I/we will try and help each other out.

However, sadly on the last day when I was going home the other friend (Friend B) of mine took some money from my wallet without telling me. My friend (Friend A) told me this only by the SMS which I receive early in the morning after I woke up. I was still blur when I read it and was pretty pissed off after I fully alert of the situation.

I understand of their situation. Friend A did mention to me that he wanted to lend some money from me as both of them are seriously having financial problem. (Like I mention earlier, we tell each other problem. I shall not elaborate more on the matter). I totally forgotten to give it to them the night before since we were out having dinner and came back quite late. I fell asleep not later after we got home.

The thing is Friend B should never do such thing in the first place no matter how bad their situation is. They should know me well enough that I obviously will lend a hand if I can. I know them long enough already. His excuse was that I was asleep. Just woke me up then.

Yes, it is good that Friend A was honest to tell me about it (since Friend A know and didn't stop Friend B) but both of them really got a good serious scolding from me. I was angry at both for doing this. No excuse for taking other people money without permission. It is called stealing.

Yes, I am angry but that doesn't me I don't care. They still my friends. I know them long enough to trust them enough. So I forgave them and I really hope this will never happen again.

Facebook Addict

Do not panic my friends. If you noticed, I no longer in your friend list but I did not delete nor remove you. So please don't take it personally or angry at me. There is absolutely nothing to worry about. I just no longer a Facebook user. Thats all.

I been a Facebook addict and I decided to just stop myself from Facebook as of yesterday. How I handle it so far? Pretty bad I guess. I just can't stop thinking about what going on in Facebook. What are the status my friend's put on or any new photos or good videos I could watch? The feeling suck. Really Facebook is addictive like the internet but at least I could do my works with internet.

Will this be the end of my Facebook network? Maybe yes. Maybe no. However for now, I just need to live life before Facebook ever exist. So if anyone want to reach me or know my current status, you know where to find me right?

Smile And You Shall Be Rewarded

How many of you smile to a stranger when you see one? I bet not many right? Why not? Is it because you don't know them and you don't want to feel weird?

I like to smile a lot and I smile almost to everyone (and anyone). I don't know why and that is just me. So sometime I smiled until it hurts my jaw muscle. Yeah. It's true. However, it is really enjoying thing to do to just see when people smile back at you. Just for no known reason.

Sometime just by smiling can get you through a lot of things. Seriously you can. Let see. I don't know if it is because I said "please" but when the shopkeeper said my order which required a week to complete and I said (while smiling - don't ask how I did it) I was in rush and really really need it in hurry, I got it in just two days. Also, there this one time I was buying the Famous Amos cookies, I got extra 40grams and when I asked, the shopkeeper just said because of my smile. Weird and funny but still I got extra cookies.

So try and smile. You will be happy and the people around you will be happy as well. It's infectious. :)

What Mine Is Mine, What Yours Is Yours

I rented a room almost a year back under my friend’s house. Technically, he was renting the house as well so I was helping him to ease the rent by paying some of it. He was staying alone and I need a room near to my work place temporary.

The idea was for me to stay for only temporary. Until I was back to my base and I be back to my home but unfortunately I fell sick and it never came true. So I had to continue renting the place despite I never been to the place for more than six months already. Yes, I still paid for the rent. We had an agreement.

My friend is a very good person. That is a problem about him. He just doesn’t know how to say no I guess. I don’t mind him because he can do whatever he wants with his choice. It’s his life. I don’t runs it. So when a certain friend of his asked for a place to stay due to an emergency, he didn’t decline it. That become my problem. Please have the courtesy to call me. I still am your housemate. I paid for the house also. I should know what’s going on with it.

How I found out about it? I was going to spend the night at the house when I couldn’t get in. The lock was changed. So I called my friend and he said he in hurry and someone will come and explain everything to me. I got to know like this.

When I was inside the house everything was changed. That person who moved in simply took my stuff and put it in ‘the person’ room. Who in the bloody right mind would go in someone room and simply touch or yet again take other people stuff and make it theirs. The only excuse given, “Oh, I thought you weren’t around for quite sometime”. So?

My room was a mess. My dustbin was taken. All my cloths in the wardrobe were taken out as if I had moved out and replace by ‘the person’ cloths. My bed sheet was used. OMG. WHAT THE HECK? Yes I was nice enough to give you a new bed sheet and you dare to ask me “Should I wash your old bed sheet?” Being me I just smile and say “Up to you,”

So that settles it. I already talked to my friend about the situation I am having now. Oh not the one you are reading at the moment. This one is just me venting it out here in my blog. There is actually other problem I am uncomfortable with which need to be done before I start to move back fully to the house. Since his friend said it is only a short stay, I just leave it then. If by the time I really going to move in this don’t resolve (i.e. haven't move out), then I will step in.

Thinking Ahead

I think it is my nature of life that I like to think ahead of time. I been told so many time by so many people by this "problem" I am having and I need to stop doing it. It create unnecessary stress.

Thinking is good for the brain. It stimulate it and thus let you develop it so you won't be so dumb in the future. My very own personal idea that is. However, if thinking too much, I think your brain will become overload and someday will just "boom" - explode.

I been thinking that might be happening to me right now. See, I am thinking again. So I have to reduce the way of my daily thoughts and just limit it to just up to the current or present day. In another word, I must not think too far ahead for something that I won't know if it will be happening or not. Just the present will be enough. Five years or two years future have to wait. What matter now is the present.

You see, I have always been taught of thinking twice ahead. I also been taught of thinking for the worst case scenario. So it is my nature to burden myself with all the unwanted stress for this just reason. I don't know why but it is fact of me.

So now I will try and try and try to unthinking. If that doesn't work? How to stop thinking? Hmm.. Think.

The Karate Kid (2010)

Two weeks ago when I passed by the poster I told myself, "Not another kung fu movie".

Two days ago, my friend invited me to watched it at the Pavilion. I was reluctant at first but he said this time it is different compared to the old movie they had before. I believe what he said and just go with it thinking I got nothing to lose since I am free.

My friend was right. This was really something new. It is a western movie mix with the Chinese culture. Words can't describe how nice the movie was but I really did enjoyed watching it until the very end. It is truly touching.

This movie did show us the meaning of discipline, courage, determination and love. It really define the real world and how true it is on what we are dealing right now. Simply a great experience.

It never came across my mind on how beautiful the scenery China can be. It really fascinate me. I do praise the director for being able to capture such beautiful and majestic wonder of the nature which I never knew existed. I makes me want to go there and sample it myself.

My rating 9/10.

A Day In The Office

This is kinda old post from my old blog I found but still it's sort of funny. I just had to share it again.

Actual published date: 05 May 2009.

I just got my salary slip and was wondering how they calculate the new increment for the salary. The company year is 1 April. So technically, every year there will be an increment for us... So here how my conversation go with one of the Rostering Staff (RS)..

[BTW Its in Malay]

Me: Kak, gaji naik yg 4% tue macam mana nak kira?
RS: Aper lar belajar tinggi2 math pun xtau
Me: Mana ader SPM ajer lar...
RS: Haah yer.. Luper lar pulak... Hahahaha...
Me: Hahaha..
RS: Camni haaa...

(Dier pun tunjukkan)

Me: Ok.. Lepas tolak sumer and tambah gaji baru nie.. Gaji saya naik RM9.05
RS: Banyak tue RM9.05.. *Laughing Out Loud*
RS: Nah akak kasi lagi.. Kesian dier.. Org keja kilang pun dapat banyak lagi dari dier kan...
Me: Perli saya yer.. Xpe2..
RS: Hahahahaha.......

Well. My new salary increment is RM9.05 for this year. But with promotion and stuff, I do actually get more than that. But that was really funny....

Personality Test

I just took this test for fun. I am not really sure it is true or not. Well, you be the judge on the answer given. If you like to try out for yourself go to http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test82.aspx

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:
You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.

How do you view success:
Success in your career is not the most important thing in life. You are content with what you have and think that being with someone you love is more than spending all of your precious time just working.

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.

Who is your true self:
You like privacy very much because you enjoy spending time with your own thoughts. You like to disappear when you cannot find solutions to your own problems, but you would feel better if you learned to share your thoughts with a person you trust.

Love Thy Neighbour

I love my neighbour behind us. She is very nice. The truth is, I never got to meet the husband yet. I think the reason being is that the husband constantly travel a lot due to his nature of job as a contractor in a big firm.

Every now and then she often pass some local delicacies from her country to my family. It is absolutely delicious. I don't know how to pronounce it correctly but I'm sure my stomach really enjoyed it.

She's a Thai and as you all know, it is true that Thai people are very polite. Perfect example: one is living just right behind us. I wish I could say the same to all my others neighbours but typical Malaysian, here they just do things on their own. I tried to be polite to what the point when they doesn't seem to bother about it.

Sometimes I wish I were back at my old neighbourhood where I know at least people five houses within the radius of my house.

Here Fishy Fishy !!

I wonder how can you built a underwater world in a city. So the date was set for me and few of my friends for the field trip discovery of the natural habitat of the salt water and fresh water creatures live in the middle of the city centre. They even exhibit some forest creatures.

The name is Aquaria. I am pretty sure you are quite familiar with it and we all once again being like the small kid we suppose to be acted pretty well on this visit. I managed to use my Maybank Petronas Visa Platinum (or Gold) card promotion which I only need to pay RM24 per adult for a maximum ticket of six. For the current Maybank promotion, any Maybank credit/debit card holder only need to pay RM25 per adult for a maximum of six tickets.

It is not that big but we had fun as it had been a while since I last visited any underwater world. What's next on the list?

The Day I Almost Crash My Car

Today I was driving on the highway and my mom was the passenger sitting next to me. I was at the middle lane driving at the speed of 110km/hr. It is the standard speed for the highway as I know my mom doesn't like when I speed if she is together with me in the car.

Out of the sudden, a trailer suddenly came in from the left lane trying to overtake the front car without realising that we were behind it. I had to make an emergency brake and control the car to maintain straight (and not by avoiding it) so that we would not flipped over or over controlled it. My mom screamed while trying to grab hold of something just in case for possibility of an impact.

The right lane was occupied with car speeding with more than the limit allowed. I would not make it if I were to turn my car toward the right lane and eventually might caused a serious accident. So I did not take my chances.

Fortunate for us also, there we enough distance for the car behind me to brake in time as well. Otherwise, we might end up crashing with each other as well. This is all a pure luck and we were lucky to be survive.

The trailer driver did not give sufficient time to overtake thus he was unaware of me behind him. I was not fully alert but lucky for me I was aware of the surrounding so I could take the best possible counter action I could think off at that time.

Otherwise you might be seeing me and my mom in tomorrow newspaper.

Google Reader and RSS Feed Problem

You are posting some nice article (or something bad) about someone or something but then you thought it might not be appropriate anymore as you find it might be offensive to the other person. So the only next thing you could do is to delete it. Phew. You save. Nobody will able to read it anymore. Well you are wrong.

Nowadays, people commonly are using Google Reader to read blogs instead of going to the blog directly to read it. It is easy. You don't have to open all the blog pages in your browser and it keep you inform with the latest posts. The only bad thing about it is, it capture everything you had publish even after you delete it. Even after you close down your blog, your record will still be there (unless Google really want it to be gone).

There is nothing much you can do to delete the post entirely but you could dig back that old post you deleted and change it. What I did for my post is to changed the title to 'E.I.E' and deleted the entire post to leave it with just blank. So at least there is nothing for people to read.

How do you change it? It is pretty simple actually. If you can learn how to blog, definitely you could learn how to dig back your old post and do the changes. Google will definitely not going to do it for you. Give them some slack, if they don't want to change it then we should do it on our own right?

Here is the step by step guide LINK. [Credit: César Roberto de Souza]

I am sorry as I don't really use the jargon words explaining about this stuff. I am not really familiar with it.

Post Scriptum: If you don't believe me, add yourself on Google Reader and see for yourself.

I'm Under Attack

Approximately 5:44am (GMT+8), I was attacked by a hacker and all addresses in my email had been compromised. I was taken by while I was asleep with no warning and they did it fast spreading virus trying to affect all the recipient they could get.

I just read an article about the possible impending attack but I did nothing about it. I just sit and do what I normally do daily. There is nothing I could do for this attack. I wasn't brief on how to handle such matter. No mention on prevention except just to handle the aftermath.

The damage was been done. Lucky for me Google manage to detect the attacker and counter-attack it by blocking the entire account. They capture the email and cancel it from ever sending it to anyone.

Damn.

Israel Attacks Must End

Why? Why must the Israel become so heartless and attack the aid convoy. What did they do to deserve it? I don't think they were once trying to attack the Israel troops at all. All they were trying to do is send in the aid for the Palestine people. They were only civilians. What harm can they do?

I can't do anything but to just talk about the sadness I felt for all the people who suffer but please, UN and the world wake up and do something about it. You can't just sit and close your eye ignoring the brutality and cruelty they had done. It is unfair to just demand explanation.

Please do something. Do what you always do to country you think is dangerous to all. International sanctions on every available sanctions you can think of for Israel. Economic sanctions, diplomatic sanctions, military sanction, anything and everything. For once let them suffer. Let Israel feel how people suffer.

For those who has Facebook let us show our support with what we can. Copy the picture below and make it your profile picture. At least we care for what is happening. More info at Freegaza.
