New Year Ending

The year is almost coming to an end. The time pass so quickly these day.

A lot of things happened to me this year. The main one was me being sick for few months. It was really stressful period for me and my family. Nevertheless, I managed to survived from the pain and sickness and back on my feet.

Due to my medical condition, I was not allowed to continue my work and was given a long medical leave. The bad side was my training was delayed. The sad part also that my salary was stopped by the company as per agreement. It was really a trouble time for me.

Despite all the problem, I told myself I need to keep on the positive side. I've decided to travel as it is the only thing that make me happy at that moment. With the planned budget, I managed to travel to Johore, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Bharu, Penang, Bali, Perth, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Jakarta, Rome and Singapore.

I met a lot of new friends along the way. Some turned to be close while some became a distance friend. It's great to know you are not alone in this world.

I have not plan for any 2011 resolution for myself. My only hope are I would stay healthy, able to keep my job and debt free.

Right now I am on my way to Singapore. The final destination for my year end trip. I will be celebrating my New Year there. After this, a new year will start but don't worry, I will be the same old me. Always.

See you next year everyone. Have a blast New Year.

Drink Responsibly, Party Joyfully and Drive Carefully.

Can You Help Me?

Few days ago, I was buying some kitchen stuff at the IKEA. It seem that the ex-housemate owned most of the stuff. I also not sure already so I just leave it as it is.

Since I really need all the stuff, I had to go and buy it immediately. I just got back from a meeting so I was wearing full formal attire with tie and everything.

Whilist looking for my stuff from the list suddenly few of the buyer came to me asking me some weird question on the items. I don't know why they thought I was working there. If I could answer ok but the problem is I don't know what the answer also.

So I think I was a bit pissed off by the time the seventh people came to me. Then suddenly want to scold me. Ish. It's really annoying ok.

Since I was almost at the check out counter I finally felt safe from all the people around.

What a day.

Housemate Out

As requested and promised, the housemate finally moving out from the house. I didn't know there are a lot of stuff actually belong to the housemate. I rather not argue since I am not sure if it actually belong to the previous (primary) housemate or not. I can always buy a new one I guess.

At the moment there are still a lot of stuff need to be brought out from the house. Given the amount of items, I just let it be. The housemate did requested a week to settle everything out. I don't really mind actually.

After this the house will be all mine (technically) or until I found someone else to live with me. I am not sure whether I should buy the single bed set for the small room now or not (don't ask why). Perhaps I should just wait for awhile.

At the moment I will leave the house messy a little bit. No point of me tidy it up until the housemate fully moved out from the house. At least I know what missing and what need to buy for the house. Plus, I don't really have time for it now. I am working until this Wednesday and the only day I am free is Thursday.

My primary housemate who moved out long ago still paying for the house. I know. He is too kind. I guess we will discuss about it soon since he no longer actually stay here. his stuff and furnitures are still here but he moved out to his old place nearby. Complicated story.

Merry Christmas to all. I'm off to bed.

Cook What?

Lately I have been very very awfully free. So I started a new hobby of my own - cooking. Since I love pasta very much, I been cooking it a lot lately. Trying my own recipe. Some tasted nice but some tasted yucky.

To help me with my food tasting, I invited over some of my friend to try out my meal. I know I am not a great cook but I can sure pleased their stomach.

I am still trying to master the art of baking. I fail badly when it come to dessert. I'm sure one day, I will able to do it. Then I shall be able to fill my love one stomach.

Time To Change

Enough with the play time. It's time for me to start concentrating my work. I better not ruin it again. I know I am lazy but I feel I am in the mood again to study. Yesh it is time for me to stop everything else and just study for my work. After all it is only for a few months and I will be back to relaxing mode again.

I hope I can make it and I am sorry if I probably going to avoid the temptation to NOT STUDY. So, I would apologies to my friends if I were to ignore your invitations. Just until it is over.

Happy working and study to all.

Blood Sucker

I hate TV series. I end up addicted to it. There goes my study I guess. Must finish the series. No. Must stop watching.

Ok. Ok. Right now I am watching the Vampire Diaries. We talking about the legend here people. Vampire, Werewolf and Witch. Make believe 'creature'. Or are they real?

I always wanted to be a Vampire. Yeah, I know its lame but I feel they are cool. Live forever (until you get killed).Still, with my brain who love to think a lot I keep asking myself a few question. My friend laugh at me when I asked him the question? Try answer for me can?

1. What happen if Vampire drink an infected blood? Ya lor like HIV virus or something? The virus got filter or not in the body. I know they are dead already. So how?

2. Can Vampire fly across the ocean? So nice right? No need buy flight ticket to travel like that. If I were a Vampire I still fly because I love airplane.

3. How in the world Vampire always have money for everything? They like very rich. So nice right? I know they can control human brain but they can't control everyone right? It must be exhausting thing to do.

4. Why Vampire very hot and pretty? They very picky right choosing who would be Vampire. So I think I'm hot enough. Hehehe. Tummy part can make one. I got few hundred year to build up. Plus drinking blood as the only diet sure help a lot.

I think thats about it for now. Help explain Vampire expert. I owe you 4.

Harvey Norman Midvalley

I just wanted to share my experience with everyone about my recent trip to Harvey Norman Midvalley.

Well, I was looking for a lot of things lately. To accommodate my mom desire of new gadgets. As I know Harvey Norman is having a SALE at the moment, I decided to go and check on it.

I was actually surprised with the treatment I received from the staff. They are extremely polite and helpful. You can basically ask anything and everything and they will explained it to you until the very detail of it. If they are unsure about the product, they really go about and find out more information on it from their colleagues until you are satisfied with their explanation.

The good thing about Harvey Norman is they are computerized and have a centralized network. so basically they could check on the system on any branches the availability if they do not have it at their branch.

The amazing thing was they really go beyond your expectation. My product were not available at their shop but it is available at other branch. Instead of me going to the other branch, the staff offered to collect it on my behalf so I don't have to trouble myself. They truly are efficient.

On the second case, since I was not able to wait for the item and urgently need it, one of the staff voluntarily helped me at his expense to deliver it to my house. Who does that right?

Hence, because of their excellent and outstanding service, I do enjoyed my shopping at Harvey Norman. I am recommending it to my friends as well to drop by at their branch in Midvalley particularly and experience it for yourself. You won't regret it indefinitely.

Kudos to the staff of Harvey Norman Midvalley.

They Are Back

I haven't got the time to properly announce that my parents are back from Haj. They both are safe and sound.

My dad somehow lost a lot of weight. 8kg to be exact. All his pants doesn't fit him anymore. He ended up having to fold it. Other than that he is healthy.

They finally finished unpacking and right now busy with the daily routine again. So I am technically free from any responsibility of the household as all work had been passed back to my parent.

Somehow, my mom seem to be liking to spend a lot of money lately. I guess her near death experience makes her felt of using it for what ever that make her happy. My dad seem to be on agreement on this as it is beneficial to him and us as well. So I am like her personal shopper at the moment going up and down the mall looking for the things she requested. I love it since it doesn't involve me taking out my money and people treating me nicely. (Since it is quite a large amount of spending.)

My dad birthday is coming up soon. So I decided to give him an early present. I don't think I want to wait since I already have the present with me. So he asked, "Is my new present more expensive than the TV you just bought?". Trying to figure out his present cost. Hahaha. (I ended up buying a new TV for them also)

This weekend I'll be off to my parent's house to bring back and set up all their new gadgets and things. I wonder if they going to asked me to shop more. :)

So I Am Pissed

I am kinda pissed with the housemate. Lucky for me the fella is moving out end of this month. So I was told. If not, I will definitely keep asking about it every single day.

Yesterday, my car was blocked by the housemate's car. How stupid and inconsiderate can someone be just went out to KL without leaving the car key behind. End up I can't move the car.

Give a call and all the housemate can say is I should arrange something like asking my friend to use their car. After that the housemate switched off the freaking phone not wanting me to call back.

I just sent a simple SMS.

"Next time please leave the car key behind if you are going out"

Tried my best to keep my anger within myself.

End of the month please get out from the house or I'll throw your stuff outside. Thank you.

Personal Trainer

As you all know, I just started my gym recently. But then, I always feel that I am a lazy person to do all the exercise on my own by myself. So after looking through the Personal Trainer (PT) board for few times I finally decided on picking one of them. Obviously, do know how my PT would be but I just try my luck here.

The training fee is not so bad. I mean it something I can afford to pay. Hence, I took 20 sessions for it. God know how long it going to take for me to finish it? Maybe in one or two months perhaps. We see how it goes.

My very first session with my PT was last week. Since it was my first time with him, he decided to just test me with most of the equipments to see how my strength and endurance would be. I thought I am going to die already because I did try the free session before and I felt like dying. Seriously. Not joking.

I thought of doing another session right after a day of rest but he told me I better stay rest. Quite a concern fella as he SMS me asking how I was. Ya lor. My first time.

PT: How was it? Any pain?
Me: Surprisingly no.
PT: Memang surprise.

All I do was laugh when I saw the reply. Somehow, I know he sure going to start torturing me after this. I was absolutely right about it.

Today, I had another session with him and boy did he tried to push me to the limit. I even almost throw up. I said almost. Funny thing was he like to bluff me a lot. Three time today to be exact. He practically use a heavier weight on me and said it was the normal minimum for the starter. Die die kena tipu.

PT: *Supporting the bar with his leg*
Me: Kena angkat ke? *Blur face*
PT: Yer lar. *Laughing*
Me: =.='

It was truly a torture and I managed to survive it even when he gave me extra free time of 20 minutes. He was free and I think he like to see me dying slowly.

So far so good and I think it was a wise choice for me to take the PT session. A good work out with a funny trainer make my training so much easier.

We'll see some result in two months then.

Room To Borrow

DB: Hey.. Do you have any room at your place available?
Me: Yeah. I still have small room. Nothing there except study table and bookcase.
DB: Oh. I was thinking of moving out after my final. Maybe around end of December.
Me: Sure. You can come in anytime. Rental around RM150 - RM200 only.
DB; Ok. So I should be moving in by January 2012.
Me: Say what again?? That is freaking a long way to go.
DB: Well, must look now right?
Me: =.='

Yup. If you are wondering, this actually happened few days ago. The room still available for those who are interested since 2012 is still long way to go. Inquire within. ^^

Tick Tock

My dying watch need to be replace soon. I was sure I will get the one watch that I had been waiting for. Sadly, it won't be happening that so fast. The model is produce with limit amount. Thus making me need to wait for ages for it.

I can't wait for it anymore. I was desperate to have something new fast. So I ended up buying something else. Something different from what I really wanted. The good part was the price combined could be count as lower than the price of one. Plus, I had almost RM600 discount for it. Cool right?

I think I am starting with a new fetish. I think I should stop buying more. It's not I am going to wear the same watch one per day. So I stop at three. One for sport. One for work. One for casual.

Lazy Bum

I am too free again now. I am suppose to be studying right now but somehow I am still waiting for the calling to come to me. Ya. I am damn lazy when it come o study.

So anyway, I did not entirely waste my time sleeping eventhough I wish I could do that. I still go out to the world and have fun.

Like today example I was cleaning the whole house. Good right me? Of course it took me almost the whole day as I keep stopping a lot and relax watching movie.

Other than that I aslo sorting out and backing up all my stuff in my laptop. Pictures, movie, music, you name it. I bought myself 2TB split into four. So you can imagine how many space I can have.

Someone was actually jealous that I was too free already now.

DB: What you doing?
Me: I am busy doing work lar.
DB: What work?
Me: Arranging music on my computer.
DB: THAT YOU CALL BUSY..

Rome Trip

Travel Date: 20th November 2010 - 24th November 2010

After a long time I did not set foot in Europe, I finally got my chance to do so by following my friend flight there. He is working so basically I only had to pay for the flight ticket. The hotel is free since I am sharing room with him.

Day 1

Well the flight departed at 2345hrs (20/11) so basically we arrived around 0540hrs (21/11). Everything is still dark when we arrived at Aeroporto Leonardo da Vinci di Fiumicino. The temperature was not bad. Thought since the winter is coming it going to be very cold. I was wrong I guess.

Arrived at the hotel, I did not waste my time much. After a quick shower, I headed down to the lobby to catch the free shuttle to the city provided by the hotel. Oh ya, we all staying at Sheraton Roma.

The driver stopped exactly at the city area with all the monuments are located. The street is called Via del Teatro Marcello. It is very easy to move around the area basically. Just walk around and you can cover almost everything. I obviously was amazed with the architecture. It was so cool. I can't stop taking pictures of everything I can fit into my camera. The idea is to walk around the circle. It hard to explain but if you were to go there just do as I said and you'll understand.

What did I saw? Pardon me if I can't cover all the names. It's a lot. Ok. Here were go. Clockwise. Teatro di Marcello, Musei Capitolini, Vittoriano o Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II, Colonna Traiana, Colosseo, Arco di Constantino and Circo Massimo. There are a lot more that I missed out in here but I think you can just take a look at the awesome pictures or read up more from the links provided.

My friends joined after their nap for lunch. Since we went to the wrong restaurant and the people at that place can't understand a word of English, we all had to settle with Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce only.

Sadly the rain started to pour. It was not heavy so we all just endure it and walked to the High Fashion Street area (Via del Condotti and surround). Unfortunately the shops mostly closed due to weekend. Hence, we just browsed through the ones that open and decided to continue again tomorrow. The rain after all was getting heavier.

We stopped by at the Cafe for a drink while waiting for the rain to dies down and also for our shuttle back to hotel arrived. Drink like a true Italian? I don't know. My friends were funny as they both keep teasing the waiter since we were all bored. Well the waiter did get his revenge back.

It was late when we arrived at the hotel. After the dinner, I just go straight to bed as it was tiring day indeed.

Day 2

It was raining when I woke up. No wonder the room felt so cold.  I guess the winter is coming. At first we decided to go with the earliest shuttle but instead we delayed our trip hoping the rain would subside. The idea for today is to visit the Vatican City. Well we heard rumors that it going to be closed due to some event but we went ahead. Took the bus there. The public transport is kind of cheap as any trip is only EUR1. The shortest route or the longest route for that trip will still be on the same fare.

The Vatican City (well again also) was huge. A lot of people were trying to enter for a visit inside and YES it was open. The best way to visit this sort of place actually by guided tour. So they could explain to you more about the place. Oh well, I am here only for pictures and more pictures.

Lunch at Caffe Leonardo near Piazza Mignanelli. I totally forgot the name of the place but they does serve a very nice meal. The service was good, the ambiance was pleasant. Felt so Italian.

Next stop was shopping. At first I did not want to shop but everything was so cheap there. Err.. If you mean by comparing to Malaysia price. I ended up spending few thousands of Ringgit. Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, Tiffany & co, Bulgari, Salvatore Feragamo and many more. You named it. They have it all. I didn't shop at all of these shop but at most of these shop. Well you can try and guess if you like but I don't think I should disclosed it here.

We shopped until it was so late and the shop were closing. How funny was that? We were rushing to buy our stuff until we had to split and met again at a spot. Then we were running to catch our shuttle back to the hotel. If not, we had to wait for two hours at the city. Like amazing race.

It was really fun outing.

Day 3

Since it was the last day, I decided to just chilled at the hotel only. Do some packing and went online for while before the pick up shuttle to the airport arrived at around 1000hrs. The flight depart at 1220hrs and with the time spent at the airport, I managed to claim the VAT for all the items purchased. The minimum amount you must spent in a receipt is EUR167 and the refund is 12%. That can be consider a lot. I used that money to buy some chocolates and still I had spare changed in my pocket. [EUR1 = MYR4.31]

I love Rome and if you have the chance to go there please go. You will love it. The city, the building and the architecture - Awesome. The people, well you just have to be like them - Aggressive. Most of them are but don't be scared as I believe it is normal in their culture. Still loving it.
