SimCity

So I heard great review about you. I hope my US$50 won't go down the drain. It didn't get a good start I tell you. Maybe because my Internet is slow.

I could only pay for it after the third attempt. I don't know why.

Now it's still downloading. God. My Internet is so damn slow. I had to pause it and continue again tomorrow. I hope I don't have to start everything all over again.

I can't give any review for it just yet since I haven't started playing it. All I saw was a great video from YouTube which makes me want to purchase this game. Yay!

We'll see how it goes.

New Year 2013 [Review]

The year 2013 is over now. So did I made it? Honestly no but here are my review.

Travel

01. Travel with 10 different airlines. - I only travelled with Thai Airways and Jetstar this year apart from the usual Malaysia Airlines.
02. Travel to 15 new cities (excluding home country) around the world. - Oh boy. I did been travelling a lot. Let see now. Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Los Angeles (USA), Las Vegas (USA), Phoenix (USA), San Diego (USA), Palm Springs (USA), Kingman (USA), Yuma (USA), Victorville (USA), Osaka (Japan), Hatyai (Thailand) and Macau (China). So 12 out of 15. Pretty good.
03. Travel and stay at 10 new cities around Malaysia. - I didn't get chance to travel locally much. So I only managed to travel to Malacca, Johor Bharu and Negeri Sembilan. The southern Malaysia.
04. Travel to North America and South America. - The North America checked for USA.
05. Bring my mom to 5 new cities (excluding home country) around the world. - I brought her to Osaka, Phnom Penh, Hatyai, Macau and Singapore. Yay!
06. Bring my mom to 5 cities around Malaysia. - Just the three cities/states as per no. 03.
07. Travel on a cruise ship. - Still no chance.
08. Visit Disneyland Los Angeles, Disneyland Orlando and Disneyland Tokyo. - Disneyland Los Angeles checked.

Money

01. Pay off credit card debt. - Honestly I did paid it off but having a credit card mean you'll end up spending again. At least now I am only using two cards instead of five.
02. Limit credit card to 4 only at one time. - Credit cards still a lot but only using two cards. A good achievement.
03. Limit spending on credit card. - Partially.
04. Limit monthly spending to RM1000. - So dead.
05. Invest RM25000 to investment. - Checked.
06. Invest in 2 new properties. - More than 2 properties checked.
07. Target for business sale of RM25000 with profit of 25%. - Unfortunately I wasn't concentrating on sales but I did made quite a sale.
08. Donate more to those who needed. - Done
09. Save money to buy car next year. - Changed my mind and spending more into investment.
10. Save money to renovate house by mid year. - Can't wait.

Friends

01. Go out at least once a month with friends. - I do believe I did. Maybe not with all my friends but at least some.

Entertainment/Home

01. Move to a new house. - The house is still under construction unfortunately. Hopefully will be ready by mid 2014.

Health

01. Lose 15kgs. - I'm joking myself on this.
02. Go to gym at least 5 times per month. - I tried but on average only managed to cover 3-4 per month.
03. Eat fast food only twice or less a month. - Failed badly.
04. Eat less sweet food. - I am still fat.

Work

01. Work harder. - Wohoo!
02. Be more knowledgeable. - I think I am now a little.
03. Learn 1 new language. - Failed badly.

It's New Year Already

It has been so long since I last update my blog. Well, I just been so busy with everything. However, I have decided to try my best to update this blog regularly.

The year started great. It was awesome actually. I do hope it will last forever. My new year surprised was a gift from a great friend of mine. It was really unexpected and I can say it's really an expensive gift. Literally in shock. I guess that's why we called it a surprised.

It's Louis Vuitton!

So now I'm in Melbourne. Is Cherry season. Yay!

I was browsing at the Harvey Norman and spotted the capsule holder for my coffee machine and decided to buy it. The great surprised was the sales guy gave me 12 boxes of capsule for free. Freeeee!

It was really unexpected. I'm a happy boy indeed. So far my 2014 has been good and great. Just waiting for it to get more awesome anytime soon.

KTM Train Accident

I was one of the many unfortunate people who was involved in the train accident on 26th January 2013. It was at approximately 1530hrs and happened near Kempas Baru. The weather was fine. No rain. No storm. Just fine.

This how I recount what happened on that very day.

I knew something was wrong when the train started to shake violently. I told my friend to hold on tight. In my mind the train will soon turned and toppled. Just the matter of when. It was fast. It was really fast. That's how I felt it. The train was moving really fast. The next thing I know my friend fell on top of me.

We just crashed.

He must fell over when the train toppled. For a moment I lost the sense of direction. I was confused temporary. I stood up and looked at my friend and asked if he was alright. That's was in my mind. Even though my head was spinning and I felt of falling again.

My friend panicked. So he told me to grab our stuff and looked for a way out. He just wanted to go out. We climb up the messy cabin and tried looking for the door. There was old couple, children and few couple family in the cabin with us. They seem shocked but alright. The door was stuck. The windows were to hard to break. There was no emergency window breaker in sight.

We then went to the other door and told everyone to follow us. It's the only hope and for the other door to be unblocked. We were lucky.

With the remaining strength I have, I climbed up and from there I saw the damaged. Five coach was derailed and toppled sideway. Everyone is helping one another out. The sight was truly amazing. Nobody cares who they are and who they helping. Just all united to get everyone to safety. I helped to a point of almost fainted due to the heat stroke. The metal was hot adding the heat making me spinning.

I told my friend to call 999 for help. Help did come but two hours later. We were in the middle of the forest with minimum landmarks. We can't blame them for taking so long. I do hope with the current technology in the world, we should by now have an effective system of sending S.O.S. to reduce the time taken to reach the scene.

Few passengers broke their arm. Most of us had bruises on the body. A girl knocked her head to bleed. The most sad sight was the guy who was trapped and broke his spine. I hope everyone would be able to recover fully. The train company should take full responsibility for the event. Until now there was no calls from the company checking if everything is alright with us. I was utterly disappointed with the train company. Honestly.

I actually did hurt my head. I didn't realised it. I was busy helping others to safety. We all are. The pain only started the next day and the bruises and soreness started to kicked along.

It was my first time taking the intercity train in this country. It was an experience alright. A painful and terrible experience but I would be fine.

I Love You With All My Liver

Unfortunately for me I just destroyed my liver. I think.

I don't think there is a cure for it. I do know I can try to save what's remain of my liver by having to stay alive?
