Wee wee Ouchy

This is really a stupid accident which I should blame myself. Well basically there I was trying to pee in one of the stall. As a guy, I can say we don't normally take down the pant when we going to pee right? Or it just me. So, I just use the zipper instead.

Somehow I accidentally let go my underwear causing it to disturb the pee flow totally. It ended up forcing the pee to back pressure. I can tell you it hurt like hell and I was really trying hard to make the pee flow normally back.

At the end of the pee, I noticed that there are blood dripping. Shit. Definitely not good at all. I am pretty sure the blood came from the urethra as there is a burning sensation.

As for now, the pain seem to spread to the ureter. I think I should monitor the pain level and probably going to the doctor if it does not subside. There is no more blood visual. Just pain. Pure pain.

Don't Ask For It

I have this problem where I don't really like when people asking me to buy stuff or sponsor something. Normally I would just pay for it. I just don't like people asking as for me it seem like a demand not a request.

So basically, if people were to ask from me I will definitely say no. Politely of course. Usually I have no problem paying or sponsor. I prefer to do it willingly.

Oddly me.

EON Visa Signature

Just after I received my new Visa Signature card from CIMB, my EON card also suit after. It is also an upgrade from my previous Visa Platinum card. The application process is just like applying the normal credit card. However, since it is an upgrade, all the information is based on old credit and it does not account as new credit card. The differences are the card number and of course the card.

The minimum annual salary for applying this card is RM180000. I actually didn't know about it and just simply apply. My salary is way way way lower than that. Good thing they approved it. Yeay!

There is one extremely good privilege which made me apply for it. The down part of this card is the annual fee can only be waived if you spend RM30000 per year. I am not that rich to spend to much of that amount. So I just going to see what I can do about it after the one year waiver is finish.

The credit limit given is lower compare to CIMB but I am not complaining since I won't be needing it.

There are a lot of privileges for this card. More info can also be found here.

1. ‘FREE For Life’ - Principal Cardholder(s) will receive an annual fee waiver for the first year, while annual fee for subsequent year(s) will be waived with a minimum cumulative spend of RM30,000 per annum. (Trick statement. RM600/year if you didn't manage to reach its minimum)

2. 1% Cash Rebate - Rebate is capped at RM500 per account with a cumulative overseas retail spend of RM10,000 per annum. (Good promotion)

3. DOUBLE Bonus Plus Points - 2 Bonus Plus Points when you spend abroad and 1.5 Bonus Plus Points when you spend locally. (Still lower compare to Maybank)

4. Complimentary Priority Pass Membership - Room to work and space to breathe can be hard to find on a busy schedule. That's why a VIP lounge has everything you need to relax-even you're working. (The one thing I love the most about this card since I travel a lot)

5. Year-End Account Summary. (I don't really monitor my spending)

6. “Privileges for Life” Programme. (Great offer but limited)

7. 100% Cash Advance. (T&C applies to it actually)

8. Share Trading Rewards. (Huh?)

9. Will Writing Services. (I use other service since this one is quite expensive)

10. Travel & Protection Benefits. (Great benefits)

11. FREE Travel Accident and Inconvenience Coverage - For every business trip or holiday with your family and loved ones, rest assured that you are protected by our FREE Travel Accident and Inconvenience Coverage of up to RM2,000,000. Remember to charge your travel purchases to your EON Bank Visa Signature Credit Card and you will automatically be protected from any flight delays, luggage lost or missed connections which extends to your spouse and children below 23 years of age. (Touch wood won't be needing it)

12. Visa Signature Privileges. (Still limited offer given from bank)

13. Visa Signature Concierge Service. (Same as any other Visa Signature)

14. 3-D Secure Online Payment. (Standard privilege)

15. Internet Banking. (Standard privilege)

Review: Etihad Airways

Date: 19th April 2011
Sector: Abu Dhabi (AUH) - Kuala Lumpur (KUL)

Etihad Airways is the national carrier for Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It's main based is at Abu Dhabi International Airport and currently serves more than 1000 flight per week.

Check-In

There is a dedicated terminal for Etihad and check-in was easy with ample of counters open. You would have the option of checking in over the kiosk also.

Departure Hall

The departure hall is a little bit unique. If you still have ample of time before your departure time, I would suggest that you hang out at the duty free area until your boarding time. The gates are located far apart from any duty free shop. So it is really not advisable to go straight to the gate.

Aircraft

Once on board, you will be provided with a nice simple amenities bag.

The aircraft used is A330-300 and it is maintained in such way that everything look new. The seat will slide together when when you recline making it feel like a partial bed. So you would feel a little comfortable while sleeping.

Cabin Crew

The crew are nice and cheery. They are very efficient in doing their job. They really fun to chat with. Since it was a long flight, I had so much fun hanging out with them.

In-flight Entertainment

Every seats are fitted with 10.4 inch touch screen personal IFE system which named E-BOX. Personally, I would say it really awesome as I am never bored while on board. So many movie, music and games to choose from. Plus, they even have exterior view camera for you to watch the lower and front view of the aircraft. The headset is noise free headset.

Meal

I learned that the meal service is based on UAE time. Which mean, if you departed night from your origin and the time in UAE are morning, breakfast will be served for you. The good time will always be lunch and dinner meals as full service will be provided. Main course + dessert + tea/coffee. For my flight, breakfast was served.

Overall Rating

Check-in 5/5
Departure Hall 4/5
Aircraft 5/5
Cabin Crew 5/5
In-flight Entertainment 5/5
Meal 4/5

CIMB Visa Signature

I was upgrading my Visa Platinum card to the new Visa Signature from CIMB. The offer seem to be much better compare to Platinum and the privileged status is only one step lower from the Visa Infinite. (To find out more about Visa cards - click here)

The easiest way for me to apply is via the card centre which available at few places around the Klang Valley. I went to Pavilion as it is more convenient for me. The good thing about applying for Visa Signature and above is the one hour approval and issue of the card. I didn't believe it in the first place. Thus the reason of me trying. It is confirmed by me to be extremely true. All you need is your latest salary slip and IC and you are done. However, the application must be made before 4:30 pm.

The centre do feel a little prestige with the Customer Service Executive attend to you promptly and attentively. The service were excellent. I asked a lot of questions and she keep walking around (not once but couple of times) looking for brochure that would help me with the answer. I was so not use to such assistance until I joined helping her too which she kept insisting me to sit and let her do all the work. Such great service.

So an hour later, I received my new CIMB Visa Signature and also the door gift of leather picture frame by Kaufmann. The minimum credit limit is RM50000. The credit limit given to me is slightly higher. (I also don't know what to do with it)

So what so good about it? Well it is a lot better from Visa Platinum to start with. I am just going to give the offers given from CIMB at this time. More info - click here.

1. No Annual Fee - Waiver for you and up to 3 Supplimentary cards. (Great!)

2. 2X Bonus Points For Overseas Spending - Fast-track your Bonus Points accumulation for every RM1 charged on your CIMB Visa Signature Card for overseas retail spending. (This would be alright if I can't use my American Express card)

3. Complimentary Airport Lounge Access - Enjoy complimentary access to Plaza Premium Lounge 2 times a year, automatically renewed annually if your total spending Is RM100,000 or more per annum. (EON Visa Signature offer better)

4. Dedicated CIMB Travel Desk - Enjoy exclusive travel deals and arrangements from hotels to flights reservations or personalised tour packages by a team of travel professionals at CIMB Travel Desk.

5. Complimentary Movie Ticket - Enjoy a complimentary movie ticket of the same class - Gold, Premiere, or Normal Class, with any purchase of movie tickets with your CIMB Visa Signature card at any Golden Screen Cinemas nationwide. (Utilizing it every single time I am out for movies)

6. CIMB Premier Club Rewards - Enjoy privileged savings when you use your CIMB Visa Signature at any of our participating merchants. (They really give great discounts to card holder)

7. CIMB Bank Smart Rewards - Enjoy year-long discounts at over 500 dining, retail and lifestyle outlets bringing you privileges and benefits wherever you go. (Additional discount given compare to other cards)

8. 1-Hour Card Issuance - Enjoy the convenience of applying for a new CIMB Bank credit card or supplementary card in one hour, plus discover the many services available at our well-appointed Card Service Centres. (Proven true)

9. CIMB Visa Signature Hotelclub - Enjoy a complimentary one-night stay at featured hotels, with discounts up to 75% on 55,000 hotels worldwide with a click of a button. (The deals are good and more compare to Platinum)

10. Enjoy More Visa Signature Exclusive Benefits - Take advantage of exclusive privileges for travel, shopping, and golfing, for your enjoyment of the privileged lifestyle. (Tailored for Visa Signature card holders)

Plus, the card is simple but look very prestige.

So upon getting my new card, I decided to cancel the old Visa Platinum I had. Our conversation turn out to be funny as I wanted to keep the old card for my collection. This is how it goes (in Malay/English language mixed):

Me: Saya nak cancel the Platinum card since dah ada Signature. The Mastercard can still be used as back up kan?

CS: Yup. Ada bawa kad tak?

Me: Kena return ker? Sebab saya nak simpan.

CS: Ikut procedure memang kena return balik.

Me: Kalau macam tue, saya tak bawa lah.

CS: Suka hati lah.

Me: Hahahaha...

Finally.....

Since July 2009 until up to date, I was on ground doing my training and then along some complications came prolonging my training altogether. However, as of yesterday (09 May 2011), I finally can say I finished it. I am done. Done with my ground training.

I was so happy and so relief. I wanted to jump around like a small kid but I think I am too old for that. Enough with thinking of it making me smiling and happy. It was really a lucky day for me I think.

Training is not over. I still have the flying part to complete. Nonetheless, I will be starting flying off going around places. Something I love to do. Something I am waiting to do. After so long on ground. I cam say I am back to what I love doing the most - flying.

Blue sky,
I know you missed me as much as I missed you. But don't worry. Soon. Real soon we shall be together again.

OMG! I am so happy right now. Seriously happy. :D

Dad Demanding Skills

I was getting a bonus recently from the company. So basically as usual I would give half of my net salary to my mom (with everything in it). With to the bonus, I had the opportunity to give extra to my dad.

But since the ratio between my mom and him is like 4:1, he did try to asked for more. If I were to give it to him, I would ended up with nothing left for myself. So the only solution I can give to him...

"Claim from mom"

:)

P/S: I pampered him with a lot of gifts lately.

Bang Car Bang

I went to my friend wedding yesterday. I was driving the ancient Honda Accord. So for those who knows about it know that the car is huge. I am so used to driving the Peugeot.

Somehow whilst parking, I accidentally bang another car. Well my car was just scratched but the other car was badly dented. Since the owner was not around, I posted a note on the car wiper hoping he/she would call me back and I shall pay for the repair.

The owner actually didn't realize about it and just gave me a call. For now waiting the confirmation from the actual coat for the repair from the mechanic. Hopefully it doesn't cost me much.

I felt so much better now.

Bank In Investment AS1M

I was trying to open a new account for the Amanah Saham 1Malaysia. I understand the availability is based on the race quotation. So I am not sure if there still units available for me to buy. I asked few times but it seem that the only way to know is to try my luck since the system are not able to display the remaining units available until you actually buying it.

Since I am planning to invest my money on something, I just trying my luck on any available until they might have. I was hoping they do have it. Few of the bankers did asked why I don't want to put it in the Amanah Saham Bumiputra. My only answer I could give to them - I reached the limit allowed.

With my ancient saving book (I have it since 2001), I approached the banker with all the forms needed to be filled in. I emptied out the units needed since I am not really sure the availability of it. Being me, I admit that I do have an ugly handwriting if I am lazy. So when she take a look at the withdrawal slip, she assume I wanted to invest with just RM130. So she cut the amount and wrote with a nicer penmanship. I pointed out that it was not the correct amount because she missed out few zeros and she repeatedly apologies after realising it. Her face was priceless. I guess I do still look like a kid since she didn't believe the amount I am putting in.

I was lucky as I managed to buy all the units I wanted. Phew!

Now let just wait and keep the money rolling.
