I Hate Cleaning

I wonder why hiring part maid is expensive these day. I remembered last time it only cost me RM50 for a 4 hours service at my old place. Now it would cost me three times more.

I am really a lazy person. Honestly I don’t like to do house chores. Mainly because I am allergic to dust. So if I start sweeping and mopping my eye would start to feel swollen and tearing up. Also not to forget the sneezing.

Nonetheless who like to come home to a dusty and or dirty house right. So if I am stingy enough not wanting to pay the extra money for cleaning service I should myself start doing it regardless. Damn it. Why the cleaning service so expensive. Argghh!

I did some googling on weekly chores or tasks I could incorporate to my plan. So I don’t have to tire myself with doing all at once. I will probably do area by area. Then I would definitely will be able to get everything clean up.

Good luck to me!

Yes I am ranting because I hate cleaning. Hahaha.

Water Challenge

This month of February I am starting a new target of just drinking plain water aka sky juice for the whole month.

I am trying to eliminate my craving for sugar from drinks as well as indirectly saving some money. Currently everything is doing great. I also been drinking a lot of water too. Just the downside that I need to constantly go to the toilet to pee.

Two of my friends joined this challenge with me. To make it more interesting, the first person to quit will be forced to treat everyone a meal of choice. So we shall see if I am able to complete this challenge by the end of the month. Who knows I might lose some weight along the way.

My Mother The Traveller

My mother and I share the same interest when it come to travelling. She too used to travel a lot during her younger days. That is why she joined the airlines. Well not as the cabin crew but as an IT officer. She still gets the perks to travels same as any employee of the airlines.

So when I was small I had the chance to travel around the would with my parents. Most of it I am not able to remember as I was still too young but there are a lot of photos we took and kept so I could be reminded on the journey.

Now my mom especially still love to travel and most of the time I would bring her around travelling the world to new places which she never been before. She loves to travel with me as I am an excellent planner and she could take her own sweet time to move around. She is getting old so she can’t really walk that fast anymore. That is why she never liked to travel with tours. It is better to travel on our own and take our time and make our own plans.

My dad, well he doesn’t share the same passion as me and my mother. However, I would still bring him around sometimes. They have cats and lots of cats so they have to alternate travelling with me all the time.

Where to next?

A Good Time

Have you watched The Greatest Showman movie? If you haven’t do go and watch it. I know I like it. It’s a musical and the songs are fresh and ecstatic.

Two song in particular which I like the most - Rewrite the stars and This is me. The choreography is on point.

Anyway, I am now in Chongqing, China. I don’t think I could pronounce it correctly if you hear me say it. It’s a beautiful city by the river and at night the buildings are lighted with beautiful colours. It is winter at the moment here but there is no snow. Just fog and rain. Just nice to sleep in.

I’ve been here in October 2017. The weather and temperature at that time are still tolerable for me. So I did all my sightseeing for the whole day. All by metro and taxi. It is convenient. Plus most of the attractions or museums are free to enter.

Time for me to go back to sleep after a good big breakfast. A good way to become fat. Hahaha...

Facebook, Instagram and Me

I am an addict.

Addicted to Facebook and Instagram to be specific. I can’t seem to stop myself from constantly engaging to both.

I believe the only solution to it would be to delete the app. However, I would die of boredom if I do that. I still am lazy to do any work if I were to keep the apps.

I always wonder what would it be to be free from all these social networking. It is not really a gain to me as most of the time I ended up viewing other people life. I have few friends who manage to delete their profile all together.

Maybe I just need to set a rules for myself. Maybe it could work if my will power is strong.

Hahahaha.

Me and my addiction.

Let’s Go To UAE

Tonight would be my first official holiday for the year 2018 and I am bringing my mom along with me.

Guess where I am heading.

Dubai and Abu Dhabi of United Arab Emirates.

Burj Khalifa Dubai

I think it has been ages since my last visit to UAE. Four years perhaps. This time I am going to visit their Miracle Garden. It is my mom wish and who am I to say no to my mother. She is all hype out now.

We been to Dubai together before. I think it was in 2012 maybe. Since Dubai is such a familiar city to us, I decided to bring her to Abu Dhabi as well. I could show her a few places of interest which I visited before in 2010.

Grand Mosque Abu Dhabi

Tonight we fly out. Flying with Emirates to Dubai and coming home with Etihad. Both which my mom have not flown yet. So it would be a first time experience for her as well. Our flight departs at 0110LT and expected to touchdown at 0430LT.

Alright then. Time to resume my packing. Pray for our safe journey and well being.

P/S: I will try my best to update my travel blog with beautiful pictures once I am back from UAE.

I Want To Sleep

Sometime I wish I am able to wake up late in the morning. Unfortunately my body clock wouldn’t allow it. So I end up waking up early between 7-8am in the morning everyday.

There are times that I wanted to use medicine aide to help me sleep longer but if I do that I would end up feeling groggy once I actually woke up.

So I guess I just have to live with it. Darn it.

Farewell 2017

As the year 2017 comes to an end, it is time for us to welcome the new year of 2018.

Time flies just a tick like the clock moving constant. There are ups and downs but it only to make me stronger and wiser. They said you learn from you past so you can be better in your future.

Just some highlights of my 2017 as far as my brain can recall.
  1. I got promoted to a new rank.
  2. I managed to travel to new places with my parents. Namely the city of Tawau, Ipoh and Taiping in Malaysia.
  3. I revisited some places such as New Zealand where I am able to explore new city and Cambodia where I revisit the ancient city of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap.
  4. I managed to clear off some of my debt.
  5. I recalculated and reorganised my lifestyle and started saving more money.
  6. I applied for investment loan for a greater financial security.
  7. I bought some new stuff for my house. I think it is a mess. My house that is.
  8. I reorganised my business. Temporarily suspend some of my sales due to change of work nature.
  9. I got sick occasionally but nothing serious. Oh! I did a minor surgery but again nothing serious.
  10. I tend to forgot stuff. I think that is due to my overthinking.

I can say there are a lot or maybe not depending on how busy your life compare to mine. However I must say I am content with what I have achieved so far.

Perhaps the year 2018 would be kinder to me.

Farewell 2017! Thank you for the memory.

When the House Auctioned

It's scary to see so many properties are on auction. It seem that our lives are getting harder and harder day by day.

Where do you go without a roof? I always feel sympathetic to owner who are unable to pay their debt for their home. There really nothing I could do about it.

Yes. The said property will be offered by the bank at a very low under value price. Sometimes I wonder if the sales would actually covers the total debt. I hope it does.

Unfortunate it is, the bank still require the debt to be paid and surely the more fortunate people will show their interest to the said property. I myself do like to expend my properties portfolio but when it come to purchasing an auction property, I look for non reside tenant.

Why?

Simply because I don't feel right getting the property by force when the owner still living in it. How do you tell that the home they are living in no longer their and they must pack their stuff and leave. It is never easy. Never.

Would you be able to face the more aggressive owner with sharp weapon pointing at you screaming and guarding their last hope of home while the wife and kids crying and begging. Would you?

Life definitely getting harder and harder. Spend wisely. For me, priority to be given for a home for shelter and food. Basic necessities for survival.

Priorities.

Messy Messy

Right now I am currently having a headache cleaning up my place. So many things to do. The problem started since I moved in six months ago and until now I have not completely finish cleaning and clearing the boxes.

Imagine few boxes just laying under the stairs. Such a sore sight. Unfortunately for me too, my place is lack of wardrobe to kerp all those stuff. Headache!

Tomorrow perhaps I am going to start throwing out any unwanted stuff to reduce the clutterness. Don't let me start with the dusk. The house generating dusk. Zzzzz.....

Here are some photos of my uncomplete home. Yes of course I am good at covering the unpleasent boxes from eye sight.

Hello!

It has been awhile since I last blog. In fact I think it is already more than a year.

Life been busy these day. I have so many things I need to do in short period of time. If only we could slower the time a little bit that would be great. I would briefly let you know what I was up to these few months with my life. Let's make it from August 2015 until now, March 2016.

First of all, I was hospitalised for few days due to minor operation on my neck. Otherwise my health has been great. Not that I am saying the problem from my neck was an issue. There was no pain but a necessary operation to remove a small lump as requested by company doctor. Gladly obliged as fully paid by company for the procedure.

Next, was the change over company. Nothing much to say here. All was well. Same organisation just different company name.

September was my birthday. Yay! Congratulations to me for getting a year older. I didn't go out and celebrate. I guess as we got older, our need changed. So I was just around relaxing. Plus, I was moving house on this month. Everything was in rush. My new place located near my workplace but far from everything else. Up to now, I have not fully unpacked yet my boxes. Mainly due to lack of fund to do the renovations and buying the furnitures.

October to December. I did travel to few places namely Sandakan (Malaysia), Siem Reap (Cambodia) and Phuket (Thailand). I won a contest from Maybank for 4D3N stay at Anantara Mai Kao Phuket and I was lucky enough to able to book the room on my intended dates. Everything works out great.

Let see now, what did I do on January? Oh ya. I was temporary transferred to Istanbul (Turkey) for two months. It was fun. To be able to work/travel from Istanbul. I was able to travel to new places and also experienced -20C of temperature. Unfortunately for me I was unwell for a month due to a bug. I have no idea what it was but I was really on and off under the radar for quite awhile.

Then come to March. Since my mom birthday is next month, she been forcing me to get my house nice and ready before her birthday as she wish to held her birthday celebration there. So I had again rush all home improvement before the deadline. Bought some additional furnitures and planned for kitchen renovation. We shall see how it goes.  Hope everything would go as planned.

So roughly that would be my life for the last eight months. Until next update then.

SimCity

So I heard great review about you. I hope my US$50 won't go down the drain. It didn't get a good start I tell you. Maybe because my Internet is slow.

I could only pay for it after the third attempt. I don't know why.

Now it's still downloading. God. My Internet is so damn slow. I had to pause it and continue again tomorrow. I hope I don't have to start everything all over again.

I can't give any review for it just yet since I haven't started playing it. All I saw was a great video from YouTube which makes me want to purchase this game. Yay!

We'll see how it goes.

New Year 2013 [Review]

The year 2013 is over now. So did I made it? Honestly no but here are my review.

Travel

01. Travel with 10 different airlines. - I only travelled with Thai Airways and Jetstar this year apart from the usual Malaysia Airlines.
02. Travel to 15 new cities (excluding home country) around the world. - Oh boy. I did been travelling a lot. Let see now. Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Los Angeles (USA), Las Vegas (USA), Phoenix (USA), San Diego (USA), Palm Springs (USA), Kingman (USA), Yuma (USA), Victorville (USA), Osaka (Japan), Hatyai (Thailand) and Macau (China). So 12 out of 15. Pretty good.
03. Travel and stay at 10 new cities around Malaysia. - I didn't get chance to travel locally much. So I only managed to travel to Malacca, Johor Bharu and Negeri Sembilan. The southern Malaysia.
04. Travel to North America and South America. - The North America checked for USA.
05. Bring my mom to 5 new cities (excluding home country) around the world. - I brought her to Osaka, Phnom Penh, Hatyai, Macau and Singapore. Yay!
06. Bring my mom to 5 cities around Malaysia. - Just the three cities/states as per no. 03.
07. Travel on a cruise ship. - Still no chance.
08. Visit Disneyland Los Angeles, Disneyland Orlando and Disneyland Tokyo. - Disneyland Los Angeles checked.

Money

01. Pay off credit card debt. - Honestly I did paid it off but having a credit card mean you'll end up spending again. At least now I am only using two cards instead of five.
02. Limit credit card to 4 only at one time. - Credit cards still a lot but only using two cards. A good achievement.
03. Limit spending on credit card. - Partially.
04. Limit monthly spending to RM1000. - So dead.
05. Invest RM25000 to investment. - Checked.
06. Invest in 2 new properties. - More than 2 properties checked.
07. Target for business sale of RM25000 with profit of 25%. - Unfortunately I wasn't concentrating on sales but I did made quite a sale.
08. Donate more to those who needed. - Done
09. Save money to buy car next year. - Changed my mind and spending more into investment.
10. Save money to renovate house by mid year. - Can't wait.

Friends

01. Go out at least once a month with friends. - I do believe I did. Maybe not with all my friends but at least some.

Entertainment/Home

01. Move to a new house. - The house is still under construction unfortunately. Hopefully will be ready by mid 2014.

Health

01. Lose 15kgs. - I'm joking myself on this.
02. Go to gym at least 5 times per month. - I tried but on average only managed to cover 3-4 per month.
03. Eat fast food only twice or less a month. - Failed badly.
04. Eat less sweet food. - I am still fat.

Work

01. Work harder. - Wohoo!
02. Be more knowledgeable. - I think I am now a little.
03. Learn 1 new language. - Failed badly.

It's New Year Already

It has been so long since I last update my blog. Well, I just been so busy with everything. However, I have decided to try my best to update this blog regularly.

The year started great. It was awesome actually. I do hope it will last forever. My new year surprised was a gift from a great friend of mine. It was really unexpected and I can say it's really an expensive gift. Literally in shock. I guess that's why we called it a surprised.

It's Louis Vuitton!

So now I'm in Melbourne. Is Cherry season. Yay!

I was browsing at the Harvey Norman and spotted the capsule holder for my coffee machine and decided to buy it. The great surprised was the sales guy gave me 12 boxes of capsule for free. Freeeee!

It was really unexpected. I'm a happy boy indeed. So far my 2014 has been good and great. Just waiting for it to get more awesome anytime soon.

KTM Train Accident

I was one of the many unfortunate people who was involved in the train accident on 26th January 2013. It was at approximately 1530hrs and happened near Kempas Baru. The weather was fine. No rain. No storm. Just fine.

This how I recount what happened on that very day.

I knew something was wrong when the train started to shake violently. I told my friend to hold on tight. In my mind the train will soon turned and toppled. Just the matter of when. It was fast. It was really fast. That's how I felt it. The train was moving really fast. The next thing I know my friend fell on top of me.

We just crashed.

He must fell over when the train toppled. For a moment I lost the sense of direction. I was confused temporary. I stood up and looked at my friend and asked if he was alright. That's was in my mind. Even though my head was spinning and I felt of falling again.

My friend panicked. So he told me to grab our stuff and looked for a way out. He just wanted to go out. We climb up the messy cabin and tried looking for the door. There was old couple, children and few couple family in the cabin with us. They seem shocked but alright. The door was stuck. The windows were to hard to break. There was no emergency window breaker in sight.

We then went to the other door and told everyone to follow us. It's the only hope and for the other door to be unblocked. We were lucky.

With the remaining strength I have, I climbed up and from there I saw the damaged. Five coach was derailed and toppled sideway. Everyone is helping one another out. The sight was truly amazing. Nobody cares who they are and who they helping. Just all united to get everyone to safety. I helped to a point of almost fainted due to the heat stroke. The metal was hot adding the heat making me spinning.

I told my friend to call 999 for help. Help did come but two hours later. We were in the middle of the forest with minimum landmarks. We can't blame them for taking so long. I do hope with the current technology in the world, we should by now have an effective system of sending S.O.S. to reduce the time taken to reach the scene.

Few passengers broke their arm. Most of us had bruises on the body. A girl knocked her head to bleed. The most sad sight was the guy who was trapped and broke his spine. I hope everyone would be able to recover fully. The train company should take full responsibility for the event. Until now there was no calls from the company checking if everything is alright with us. I was utterly disappointed with the train company. Honestly.

I actually did hurt my head. I didn't realised it. I was busy helping others to safety. We all are. The pain only started the next day and the bruises and soreness started to kicked along.

It was my first time taking the intercity train in this country. It was an experience alright. A painful and terrible experience but I would be fine.

I Love You With All My Liver

Unfortunately for me I just destroyed my liver. I think.

I don't think there is a cure for it. I do know I can try to save what's remain of my liver by having to stay alive?
