Love Thy Neighbour

I love my neighbour behind us. She is very nice. The truth is, I never got to meet the husband yet. I think the reason being is that the husband constantly travel a lot due to his nature of job as a contractor in a big firm.

Every now and then she often pass some local delicacies from her country to my family. It is absolutely delicious. I don't know how to pronounce it correctly but I'm sure my stomach really enjoyed it.

She's a Thai and as you all know, it is true that Thai people are very polite. Perfect example: one is living just right behind us. I wish I could say the same to all my others neighbours but typical Malaysian, here they just do things on their own. I tried to be polite to what the point when they doesn't seem to bother about it.

Sometimes I wish I were back at my old neighbourhood where I know at least people five houses within the radius of my house.

Here Fishy Fishy !!

I wonder how can you built a underwater world in a city. So the date was set for me and few of my friends for the field trip discovery of the natural habitat of the salt water and fresh water creatures live in the middle of the city centre. They even exhibit some forest creatures.

The name is Aquaria. I am pretty sure you are quite familiar with it and we all once again being like the small kid we suppose to be acted pretty well on this visit. I managed to use my Maybank Petronas Visa Platinum (or Gold) card promotion which I only need to pay RM24 per adult for a maximum ticket of six. For the current Maybank promotion, any Maybank credit/debit card holder only need to pay RM25 per adult for a maximum of six tickets.

It is not that big but we had fun as it had been a while since I last visited any underwater world. What's next on the list?

The Day I Almost Crash My Car

Today I was driving on the highway and my mom was the passenger sitting next to me. I was at the middle lane driving at the speed of 110km/hr. It is the standard speed for the highway as I know my mom doesn't like when I speed if she is together with me in the car.

Out of the sudden, a trailer suddenly came in from the left lane trying to overtake the front car without realising that we were behind it. I had to make an emergency brake and control the car to maintain straight (and not by avoiding it) so that we would not flipped over or over controlled it. My mom screamed while trying to grab hold of something just in case for possibility of an impact.

The right lane was occupied with car speeding with more than the limit allowed. I would not make it if I were to turn my car toward the right lane and eventually might caused a serious accident. So I did not take my chances.

Fortunate for us also, there we enough distance for the car behind me to brake in time as well. Otherwise, we might end up crashing with each other as well. This is all a pure luck and we were lucky to be survive.

The trailer driver did not give sufficient time to overtake thus he was unaware of me behind him. I was not fully alert but lucky for me I was aware of the surrounding so I could take the best possible counter action I could think off at that time.

Otherwise you might be seeing me and my mom in tomorrow newspaper.

Google Reader and RSS Feed Problem

You are posting some nice article (or something bad) about someone or something but then you thought it might not be appropriate anymore as you find it might be offensive to the other person. So the only next thing you could do is to delete it. Phew. You save. Nobody will able to read it anymore. Well you are wrong.

Nowadays, people commonly are using Google Reader to read blogs instead of going to the blog directly to read it. It is easy. You don't have to open all the blog pages in your browser and it keep you inform with the latest posts. The only bad thing about it is, it capture everything you had publish even after you delete it. Even after you close down your blog, your record will still be there (unless Google really want it to be gone).

There is nothing much you can do to delete the post entirely but you could dig back that old post you deleted and change it. What I did for my post is to changed the title to 'E.I.E' and deleted the entire post to leave it with just blank. So at least there is nothing for people to read.

How do you change it? It is pretty simple actually. If you can learn how to blog, definitely you could learn how to dig back your old post and do the changes. Google will definitely not going to do it for you. Give them some slack, if they don't want to change it then we should do it on our own right?

Here is the step by step guide LINK. [Credit: César Roberto de Souza]

I am sorry as I don't really use the jargon words explaining about this stuff. I am not really familiar with it.

Post Scriptum: If you don't believe me, add yourself on Google Reader and see for yourself.

I'm Under Attack

Approximately 5:44am (GMT+8), I was attacked by a hacker and all addresses in my email had been compromised. I was taken by while I was asleep with no warning and they did it fast spreading virus trying to affect all the recipient they could get.

I just read an article about the possible impending attack but I did nothing about it. I just sit and do what I normally do daily. There is nothing I could do for this attack. I wasn't brief on how to handle such matter. No mention on prevention except just to handle the aftermath.

The damage was been done. Lucky for me Google manage to detect the attacker and counter-attack it by blocking the entire account. They capture the email and cancel it from ever sending it to anyone.

Damn.

Israel Attacks Must End

Why? Why must the Israel become so heartless and attack the aid convoy. What did they do to deserve it? I don't think they were once trying to attack the Israel troops at all. All they were trying to do is send in the aid for the Palestine people. They were only civilians. What harm can they do?

I can't do anything but to just talk about the sadness I felt for all the people who suffer but please, UN and the world wake up and do something about it. You can't just sit and close your eye ignoring the brutality and cruelty they had done. It is unfair to just demand explanation.

Please do something. Do what you always do to country you think is dangerous to all. International sanctions on every available sanctions you can think of for Israel. Economic sanctions, diplomatic sanctions, military sanction, anything and everything. For once let them suffer. Let Israel feel how people suffer.

For those who has Facebook let us show our support with what we can. Copy the picture below and make it your profile picture. At least we care for what is happening. More info at Freegaza.

Prince Of Persia : The Sand Of Time

First of all, WOW.

This is really a touching story. I can't imagine they could really make a really good movie from a game. I know it is not real but hey you never know right? What if this ever happen long time ago. Truly epic.

I thought Disney was about fun and loving but they really put their standard higher this time when making this movie (Ok, I know they have others action movies also). It just like watching the cartoon Aladdin. Only this time, you see it as a real life person.
Set in the mystical lands of Persia, a rogue prince and a mysterious princess race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time -- a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world. Written by Walt Disney Pictures
The ending is unimaginable. I am actually speechless during the ending. To tell you the truth I almost cried at the end. So you see how great the ending is. I can't stress you more on this.

To see it is a must. I definitely recommend it. My rating 8.5/10.
